Beginning of White Crow Cider
Founders Kenneth and Denise's passion for cider began in the summer of 2014, while spending three months in Bristol England and traveling Europe. Surrounded by an incredible cider culture, they discovered their love for dry English-style ciders. After returning home, they couldn't find the cider they missed so they started making it.

A Hobby out of control
After years of making hard cider for themselves, friends, and family—along with plenty of experimenting and tasting—Kenneth and Denise headed to Washington State to take a CINA course, officially becoming certified cider makers.

Making It Official
Kenneth and Denise decided it was time to share their cider with the world. They signed a lease on a 1,200 sq ft space and began the process of licensing — ready to bring their cider to events, festivals, and fellow enthusiasts.

COVID-19 Pandemic
Just as plans were gaining momentum, COVID hit. Festivals and events were canceled, bars were struggling, and our original sales model evaporated overnight. So they pivoted — they decided to offer samples at the cidery, fill growlers to-go, and set up curbside pickup. They just tried to manage the chaos and get the facility up and running.

Our very own, new building
Kenneth and Denise made it through their first pandemic year — and people were actually buying cider. Enough, in fact, that they took a leap and bought a building in downtown Wichita to expand production and build out a real taproom. After more than a year of construction — from building the bar and tables to installing taps and setting up tanks — Kenneth and Denise officially opened the new White Crow Cider taproom to the public.

The Cidery Today
White Crow Cider is a fully operational cidery and taproom in the heart of downtown Wichita. We continue to craft small-batch, modern ciders — often experimenting with new styles, barrels, and ingredients. The business has grown enough to welcome an amazing team, including a dedicated cider maker, a taproom manager, and a crew of 10 passionate employees. The taproom serves as a gathering space for cider lovers, curious first-timers, and anyone who just wants to hang out with a good drink in good company.
